I decided I wanted to start a new hobby. This past week, Richard's Mom and Grandmother were here in south Texas and we did a lot of cool things. We went to San Antonio and saw the Alamo,
Riverwalk by walking and by riverboat tour, Sea World, and then one day while Richard was working we drove to
Harlingen to see the
original Iwo Jima memorial. I took some extra time with some of the photos which has sparked an interest in a new hobby for me...photography. I called and asked my dad if i could use his 35mm camera and he said yes (thanks, Daddy!) and I'm going to check the local community college to see if they offer any classed I can take. here's a sample of what i took. Enjoy!
This is a side view of the Alamo. The Bougainvillea is beautiful.
Here Aaron is nestled in a thicket of palms.
This is an 'optical illusion' building we saw from the riverboat tour of San Antonio. I think the tour guide said it was the old hospital.
